Laura Nelson-Hamilton

Laura Nelson-Hamilton has recently completed a Master of Women's Studies degree at Memorial University. Her research was located at a community garden in St. John's, and studied the history of the garden and the significance of identity to community gardening activities. She currently works for the Food Security Network of Newfoundland and Labrador and Food Education Action St. John's. Previously, Laura has volunteered at a food bank, a community kitchen, and has also worked with a student organization called Meal Exchange.
