Matthew Ryder

Matthew Ryder has been covering sports for over seven years, including time spent with CBC Radio One and Rogers Television in St. John’s, as well as a host of online publications based across Canada. After working as media relations director for the St. John’s Fog Devils, he haplessly wandered until once again finding purpose in the revitalized Indy. When he’s not hammering out sports columns and movie reviews, you can find him deep in martial arts study or hanging out with his two dogs. Much like Don Draper of Mad Men, he does his best work when sharply dressed and drinking at his desk.
