I also found Omar via Urban Sketchers, and now look for his personal blog posts before checking the posts on Urban Sketchers. Very glad to see others/media taking note of his work.
I’m both a follower of Omar’s fabulous watercolour sketches and an urban sketcher.
I think he is right in that the sketches capture a memory and connect people in a way that photos cannot.
I’ve been following Omar(via Urban Sketchers) for more than a year and love his “eye” for the small details wherever he goes.
Keep ‘em coming, Omar!
