Council has three projects to look at approving this evening, which Councillor Frank Galgay says will give the city a significant financial boost – but all three would require rezoning properties. The first is for development of a 68 lot residential subdivision in the area of Stavanger Drive. The second is an application for the development of 244 condominiums in the Blackmarsh Road and Captain Whalen Drive area. The third comes from Manga Inc and involves an increase the number of condominiums proposed for the site of the old Star of the Sea Hall on Henry Street. This would mark the second time in recent months a developer has asked to increase the number of units in a new building already under construction.
Council is back in socially-distant session at the Bunker, and it's as glorious as you expected.
