A new docudance production called “St. John’s Women” is opening at the LSPU Hall in St. John’s on Sept. 19. The project is the effort of local dancer and documentarian Louise Moyes, who interviewed women of three generations from the island’s capital city about their perspectives on feminism, religion, children and life.

“St. John’s Women” runs Sept. 19-22 and on its first night will serve as an Oxfam fundraiser and include a panel discussion featuring three immigrant women speaking of their experiences living in St. John’s.
