Lobby group Save Our People Action Committee wants government to do more than keep track of where moose-vehicle accidents occur. The provincial government announced they’ll soon start using a GPS tracking system to track where and when highway accidents happen. Eugene Nippard of the lobby group says information on where they occur is already available and suggests fencing, an emergency number to call to report moose accidents, and better lighting on the highway, are some of the things government should be doing instead, to help fix the moose problem.
