Research and development firm C-CORE announced today the establishment of new $16.5-million Arctic research centre. The Centre for Arctic Resource Development will be a 1,260-square metre expansion to C-Core’s building on Memorial University’s campus in St. John’s, with funding coming from the Hibernia and Terra Nova projects as well as the Research and Development Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador. The project is expected to eventually create 30-40 new full-time technology jobs.
