The weekend didn’t produce any breakthroughs in the Canada Post strike, as negotiations remain stalled between the company and its locked-out workers. Both sides said they were scheduled to meet over the weekend, but face-to-face talks didn’t even take place. This week back-to-work legislation is likely to be tabled in Parliament by Labour Minister Lisa Raitt. The union will fight the legislation in any way that they can, while Canada Post says that there is still time to come to an agreement before the federal government steps in.
