Two winning Newfoundland politicians, NDP Ryan Cleary and Liberal Scott Andrews, suggested there may be consequences for N.L. Premier Kathy Dunderdale after her ardent support of the Conservative party in this province – a full reversal from her efforts campaigning AGAINST the party in 2008. Despite the Conservative majority, the party only won one seat: a surprise win in Labrador. “She supported a horse too early… and I think that she’s going to pay a price come October,” said Cleary. “It’s amazing in two and a half years their opinions changed on Stephen Harper and they got out there and worked. But obviously it didn’t pan (out),” said Andrews.
