The giant ice island, which has now drifted just 25km from Newfoundland and Labrador’s shores and is about the size of Manhattan, is a stunning visual from space. Check out the image from the MODIS on NASA’s Terra satellite on Sunday morning, 24 July, showing the ice island inching its way closer to the coastline.
