The union representing Canada Post workers says it is now up to the crown corporation to decide if there will be a postal strike. The union responded to Canada Post’s final offer with a counter-proposal of its own on Sunday, and expects to have a response to that proposal today. A 72-hour notice is required for any job action including a strike, so Canadians can still count on their postal service to operate as-per-normal until at least the weekend.
