Born in Ontario, and with roots stretching back to the Channel Islands, Christian Corbet is a nationally recognized portrait artist. A recent arrival, Corbet came back to Newfoundland (he had travelled across the island with his family as a boy) in order to paint icebergs, but has settled in Corner Brook and plans to stay, at least as much as anyone can plan anything.
