Another twist in the Carson case

What further twists can we expect from the Bruce Carson case?

Just before the election call, it was revealed that Bruce Carson, who served as senior adviser and acting chief of staff to Harper, had contacted officials after leaving office to promote a water purification scheme to the benefit of his 22-year-old girlfriend, a former escort. Harper’s office called in the Mounties, and the public has since learned that Carson has had five criminal convictions, including several from 1990. But yesterday the story thickened even more, as it was revealed that the security official who played a key role in approving the hiring of Bruce Carson at the Prime Minister’s Office now heads the RCMP, which is looking into allegations of influence peddling against Carson. What further twists can we expect in coming days?
