Flanked today at a news conference today by franchise President Danny Williams and Chief Operating Officer Glenn Stanford, Keith McCambridge was named the coach of the new St. John’s AHL team. McCambridge is a former pro-hockey player who recently served as assistant coach to the Manitoba Moose. Browning Harvey was also named the team’s gold sponsor…. maybe now they can take their giant sign on Water Street down (see below).
