Improvements coming for para-transit in metro

M.V. Transportation, and American company, has won the bid to provide public transportation services to the disabled in St. John’s and Mount Pearl. “They will put in place a new fleet of 18 buses. So, that’s a brand new modern fleet with all of the things that are necessary to accommodate riders,” said St. John’s Councillor Tom Hann, who notes the upgrade was necessary because user numbers have been climbing steadily.
