The body of a 74-year-old man was found around 2:30 pm yesterday, 4 kilometers from his ATV outside of Grand Falls-Windsor. He had left home on what the RCMP called a “routine trip” Saturday evening. Family and community volunteers helped the RCMP, Exploits Search and Rescue, and a Fire and Emergency Services helicopter with the search, finding the man’s ATV in an area called Chipper Road about 12 kilometers from town. The Chief Medical Examiner’s office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and foul play is not suspected.
