Police investigate two missing person cases

Police on both sides of the island are searching for two missing persons. Fifteen-year-old Stephanie Fifield has been missing since Monday, March 28. She was last seen in the area of Field St. in St. John’s. She is described as 5’5″ tall and 120 pounds, with green eyes and short, dark hair. Across the island in St. Anthony, RCMP continue to search for Cleon Smith. Police say they received a call late Saturday afternoon that the 30-year-old man had left for a walk but failed to return. When last seen, Smith was wearing a black winter parka, black snow pants, a black hat, beige gloves and a pair of sneakers. A ground search is currently being conducted. The police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of either of these people to get in touch.
