Poll predicts 100 seats for the NDP

A poll released last night seems to be putting Canada’s political parties in uncharted territory. The latest poll from EKOS Research suggests that the NDP have made significant gains all over the country – specifically with great strength in Quebec. The poll says NDP support has leapfrogged that of the Liberal party, is only 6 points back from Conservatives in popular support, and predicts 100 seats for the party in the election.  Though this is just one of several national polls media and political parties rely upon, and the only with such striking NDP gains, it is still a first in Canada.
