Not only is it playoff time, but it’s playoff time featuring the Montreal Canadiens. So great is our love for hockey, that the French-language election debate between our party leaders originally scheduled for Thursday night has been bumped up to Wednesday night – on account of the fact that the Canadiens have a playoff game on Thursday. Our American neighbours at FOX news got a kick out of this one. This leaves on to wonder though… had the Vancouver Canucks been playing a playoff game on the night of the English-language debate, would there have been a change?
