Province releases new climate change action plans

Yesterday the provincial government released action plans based on climate change and energy efficiency – a move it says delivers on commitments it made in 2007. The climate change plan was developed with four goals in mind: enhancing our resilience to the impacts of climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emission levels, demonstrating provincial government leadership, and collaborating with other governments. The document can be downloaded here. Meanwhile the energy efficiency plan aims to support a “major shift in the uptake of energy efficiency” and can be downloaded here.
