Rigolet house used by Katimavik destroyed in blaze

Last night around 8:30 p.m., a fire spread through and destroyed a house in the Labrador coastal community of Rigolet. The house was being used by volunteers belonging to a Katimavik group, but no one was home at the time of the fire. Police said people in Rigolet are temporarily providing accommodations for the young volunteers. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
