Year-round cargo service?

Last month, the federal government announced $2.5 million for a roll-on/roll-off ramp for shipping operations at Argentia, and now the port is calling for expressions of interest in a cargo vessel service from Belledune, New Brunswick. A year-round service specifically designed for cargo could help ease the tension with truckers who have voiced repeatedly their concerns about Marine Atlantic’s services between Port-aux-Basques and Sydney, NS.
