Cabana not going away

Brad Cabana, a man who has run for the leadership of both the PC party and the Liberal party within the past year, says he is going forward with legal action against the government following a sparring battle between he and Tourism Minister Terry French on an open line talk show – where the minister called Cabana a “political prostitute”. Cabana gave French until 4:00pm yesterday to both issue an apology and resign – which didn’t happen. Deer Lake airport sees record numbers for July

Deer Lake Airport chief executive Jamie Schwartz says more than 37,000 passengers came through the facility in July. The figure represents an increase of nearly 13 per cent over July 2010.
