Erin Light (she/her) is a to-do list master, an enthusiastic and perpetual learner, a relationship builder, a big proponent of the Oxford comma, and a fierce advocate for social justice. She holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology, with her research focusing on the historical erasure of Indigenous identity in Newfoundland, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from Schulich School of Business and York University. Throughout her career, Erin has fostered and supported spaces and communities of equity and inclusion, while advocating for Indigenous rights. Presently, she’s thrilled to combine engaged anthropology, project management, and anti-colonial work in her role as Director of Operations at Aurelia, a team that works with Indigenous communities to build internal, grassroots capacity for the delivery of human services. She lives in the trees in Conception Bay South with her partner, their two perfectly amazing little girls, and their doofus of a Labrador Malamute that she smuggled home on a twin otter inside her jacket.
