Patricia is a second-generation urban Nunatsiavummiuk (also of British and German descent) raised in St John’s. She is currently living in Dakota and Ojibwe homelands while completing a PhD in history at the University of Minnesota. Previously, Patricia worked as the Director of Policy and Planning for the Nunatsiavut Government in Nain, and was a Jane Glassco Northern Policy Fellow. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in African studies and Philosophy from McGill University and a Master’s of Arts in anthropology from the University of Cape Town.
