The Telegram is reporting that Memorial University professor Wade Locke wants to make a point of clarification regarding his presentation on Tuesday night where he endorsed the Muskrat Falls project. At the tail end of the presentation – and in the next few days – many were left with the impression that Locke’s analysis did not include the cost of transmitting the power from Labrador to the island. This oversight could have changed the result of the analysis. However, Locke has since gone over his numbers with Nalcor and can now confirm that his analysis, in fact, did include these costs. Locke said he was confused as he had not made that clear on his slides, however after speaking to Nalcor Vice-President Glibert Bennett Thursday morning, Locke said he understood the transmission costs had, in fact, been included in his presentation.
