NL gas prices jump almost a nickel

The province follows suit after gas prices nation-wide increased earlier this week.

Gas prices in Newfoundland and Labrador have jumped nearly a nickel, following price hikes across Canada earlier this week.

“The Public Utilities Board lifted the ceiling on all grades of gasoline by as much as 4.8 cents per litre, marking the steepest single increase in an upward trend that began in late June,” the CBC reports.
