Winnipeg Jets beat Ottawa Senators at Mile One

In the main event of the Kraft Hockeyville celebrations, the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Ottawa Senators 3-1 in a game that wowed the 6,000+ fans with good goals, great goaltending, and some of the rough stuff. Newfoundland native and Ottawa Senators hopeful Colin Greening even starting mixing it up physically with Jets players as the final horn ended the game. “Hockey here is huge,” said Greening. “I know sometimes you forget about Newfoundland because we’re so far East and we have our own time zone, but hockey’s big here. Everyone’s born on skates.”
