VIDEO: The most interesting people in Newfoundland | Christian Corbet

A nationally recognized forensic sculptor

Born in Ontario, and with roots stretching back to the Channel Islands, Christian Corbet is a nationally recognized portrait artist. A recent arrival, Corbet came back to Newfoundland (he had travelled across the island with his family as a boy) in order to paint icebergs, but has settled in Corner Brook and plans to stay, at least as much as anyone can plan anything. And he drinks Scotch. See his work at www.christiancorbet.com

The Most Interesting People In Newfoundland is a series of video profiles — one that asks fascinating people to define themselves as individuals and as Newfoundlanders. Some will be familiar, others less so, but each has a story to tell.
