Cleary named NDP Atlantic Caucus Chair

Newly minted St. John’s South-Mount Pearl Member of Parliament Ryan Cleary has been appointed the caucus chair of the NDP’s atlantic caucus. A party’s Atlantic Caucus typically sits once weekly while Parliament is in session to develop strategies on issues relating to the region, and to advise the party on policy. For his part, Cleary believes he is one step closer to achieving his goal of opening an inquiry into the state of the fishery – as he says the rest of the caucus is on board.
