Irene is fizzling out, but she’s still expected to dump a lot of rain on western and northern Labrador tonight. VOCM reports that while Irene has been downgraded to a post-tropical storm, the storm is still carrying a lot of moisture and some gusty winds. Labrador will get the brunt of the precipitation and is expected to get about 40 mm, while the straights and the Northern Peninsula can expect to feel some of the effects as well.
