Man collapses during debate in Clarenville

Candidates quickly set aside political differences and aspirations last night Clarenville when a man collapsed during an all-candidate’s forum. The Telegram has confirmed that the man, Wilson Wiseman, believed to be in his 60s, is the campaign manager for Environment Minister Ross Wiseman, the Progressive Conservative incumbent. There is no word yet on his condition. One of the first people offering help was NDP hopeful Vanessa Wiseman, a licensed practical nurse. The debate was immediately called off.
