The residents of Marystown, despite OCI filing an injunction against former workers preventing them from blocking the company from entering its own building, are continuing to find ways to obstruct the company. On Wednesday the husband of a former OCI worker who was laid off – who was not one of the parties named in the injunction – blocked access to the plant with his truck. CBC reported that about 80 plant workers and their supporters gathered outside the plant early Wednesday afternoon while the truck blocked the entrance. RCMP officers eventually were able to convince the man to move his vehicle.
