Occupy St. John’s keeps on trucking

The “Occupy” movement is coming under fire all over North America; while steps are being taken in Canadian cities like Vancouver and Calgary to remove the protesters from their encampments on public properties, The Telegram checked in with the movement in downtown St. John’s and it seems to be “business as usual”. “We were talking yesterday about how since we’re one of the last Occupy movements standing in Canada at the moment, because of all the evictions … this is a very important moment for us to show our support at this occupy movement (in the park) and to keep in going strong,” said on occupier.
