‘Exile Island’ is a fundraising event by The Children’s Wish Foundation, and it’s a playful take on the popular hit tv reality show “Survivor”. According to their website, tribes of five will be exiled on Bell Island for an afternoon of challenges, competition, fundraising and wish granting to determine who will become Newfoundland & Labrador’s ultimate survivor! Thus far the following local companies are signed on to participate: Ernst & Young, DF Barnes Ltd, McInnes Cooper, Johnson Insurance, PartyBus/Rainbow Daycares, A. Harvey Co., and Provincial Airlines. The competition is taking place today.
