Stef Curran

Stef Curran (she/they) is a comedian, writer, and playwright from St. John’s, NL. Throughout her career, Curran has played many roles in the arts community, such as acting with companies like Rising Tide, Shakespeare by the Sea, Nothing On Productions, she is 1/4th of Mom’s Girls Comedy and a member of Halfhandsome, and is co-founder of Riveting Productions who focuses on queer and educational productions. Curran is a musician who has sung for over 15 years, and is currently learning bass. In her freelance work, Curran focuses on arts and entertainment, primarily on topics around music and theatre. Their play “1 of the 68”, which tells the story of Pte. Daniel Curran surviving the Battle of Beaumont Hamel, will be workshopped at Rising Tide Theatre Summer 2022.
