Much of the Janeway Hospital and Health Sciences Centre was evacuated temporarily this morning after smoke was detected in an area inside near the Janeway portion of the centre. As of 10:30 this morning the St. John’s Regional Fire Department was still on the scene investigating. Stay tuned to TheIndependent.ca for updates.
