Long Harbour already benefitting from Vale project

The chairman of the Long Harbour Development Corporation is touting the early effects on the community of Vale’s $2.8-billion project. Gary Keating is estimating that almost 70 residents in the area are currently employed as a result of the project. The Development Corporation is working with directly with Vale to get an accurate understanding of the future plant’s job requirements – so that the corporation can in turn best prepare those hoping to secure a permanent position with the company as it gets closer to its operation stage.
