This past Saturday at a home in St. John’s, police were called to respond to an alleged attack, according to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary. They said a 35-year-old man allegedly used a television remote as a weapon and threatened his family. A woman and her children were escorted by police from the house before the man was arrested. He will appear in court Monday to face charges of assault and uttering threats.
