On the heels of TheIndependent.ca’s video yesterday which touched on some of the major developments underway in the capital city, news has broken that a new hotel has been proposed for the west end of downtown. A sketch of the design of the new building can be found below, courtesy of CBC’s Here and Now. This development represents the third to be proposed on a corner of Hamilton Avenue and Water Street – and if all three were to be approved, this area of town would change considerably.
