Our province gets two new bishops

Two new bishops have been appointed by the Vatican to postings in our province. Rev. Robert Anthony Daniels has been appointed bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Grand Falls, and will begin his duties on April 11. His most recent posting before here was in London, Ont. as auxiliary bishop of the diocese. The second bishop on his way is coming from Toronto. Rev. Peter Joseph Hundt is currently serving there as auxiliary bishop in the archdiocese. Hundt will be installed as bishop of Corner Brook and Labrador on April 13. Overseeing the ceremonies is the papal nuncio to Canada, Archbishop Pedro Lopez Quintana.
