Canadians vote, Conservatives get majority

Elected N.L. Candidates

New Democrat, Jack Harris received 31,287 votes (71.2%) in St. John’s East.

Liberal, Scott Simms received 17,895 votes (57.8%) in Bonavista-Gander-Grand Falls-Windsor.

Liberal, Gerry Byrne received 17,119 votes (57.1%) in Humber-St. Barbe-Baie Verte.

Liberal, Judy Foote received 12,871 votes (49.7%) in Random-Burin-St. George’s.

New Democrat, Ryan Cleary received 18,332 votes (48.4%) in St. John’s South-Mount Pearl.

Liberal, Scott Andrews received16,021 votes (43.9%) in the Avalon riding.

Conservative, Peter Penashue received 4,234 votes (40.4%) in Labrador.
