A peek at today’s house of assembly opening

John Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of our province, spoke at length today as he officially opened the spring session of the legislature, which was also Premier Dunderdale’s first (as premier). His speech ranged from the development of Muskrat Falls to the mining industry, but focused on a future born of natural resources.

“The very rocks beneath our feet are fueling our opportunities to grow,” he said. “Our future depends on the development of resources … the opportunities, they are rural, and they are happening right now.”
