Sherrie McCarthy

Sherrie McCarthy comes from Mount Pearl and has a Masters degree in history. But she refuses to let reality dictate her life. She’s lived, worked and traveled in Japan, Korea, Germany, and well most of the world. Despite being a mediocre motorcycle rider (at best) and having an abysmal command of the English language, the majority of her time is spent either on her bike, or teaching English in an effort to finance the time on her bike. She is currently riding her motorcycle around the world, taking a truly long way home to Newfoundland. Her column chronicles the story of that journey.
